REMOVE GEL POLISH ON TOENAILS AT HOME EASILY

REMOVE GEL POLISH ON TOE

You’ve been wearing the same gel polish color on your toes for over three weeks now. Now that your toenails have grown longer, you want to remove the color yourself. However, the hassle of wrapping the toenails in acetone plus sitting in a chair for at least 20 minutes waiting for the gel polish to soften, then painstakingly peeling it off seems like the last thing you want to do tonight because it would take up an hour of your time.

After taking a warm shower or bath, followed by 15 minutes of foot soaking in warm water, is the best time to remove gel nail polish from toenails at home. Gel nail polish is loose and can be easily peeled off with a pair of tweezers. This requires little effort and time.

You have to spend extra time on this service and some nail salons charge around $10 for removing gel polish from your toenails. This method will show you how to do it at home so easily. It will also save you time and money. Are you excited? Keep reading so you know how to do it.

Remove gel polish off toenails without acetone

Things you need:

  • I used a large plastic container big enough to hold both feet.
  • I used about two gallons of warm water.
  • ½ cup of household or table salt or any kind of pedicure salt you have (optional).
  • 1 pair of tweezers.
  • 1 medium towel for drying feet
  • Decide where you would sit comfortably and less chance of damage your floor with possible water spillage.

Procedure:

  1. After you have taken a shower, soak your feet for 15 minutes in very warm water. If the water is too hot, add some cool water. The water level should be just above the ankle.
  2. Check to see if the gel polish is curling after 10 minutes.
  3. While the foot is still submerged in water, peel the gel polish up, starting with your little toe, without tearing it off of your toenails because you need some loose parts to grip it in the next round.
  4. Repeat with the adjacent toes.
  5. Start with the little toe on the other foot and repeat the above steps.
  6. Repeat the above peeling steps on toenails that still have gel polish until they are all completely removed.
  7. It is a good idea to scrub your feet and toes while your feet are soaking to remove any remaining dead skin.

After rinsing and drying your feet, you are done.

By adding table salt or any pedicure salt to the water, you can treat any bacteria or fungi on your feet. Therefore, you will do more to your feet than simply removing gel polish in one sitting.

Benefits of this soaking toenails in warm water after a shower without acetone

Less time is needed: you might not get it right the first time, but after a few times, you will be efficient. No acetone is needed, so this is an advantage. Toenails will thank you for avoiding contact with the skin-drying chemical hash.

Less damage on toenails:Because the whole layer of gel polish is warmed evenly, it can be peeled away more easily than other wrapping methods, in which some hard spots may require more forceful action, causing some real nails to come off.

Removing gel polish on toenails by soaking in warm water can be done in salons

My customers asked me to do it. At my salon, I used the clipper or aluminum wrap technique to remove gel polish from customers’ toenails. They had to sit and wait for an extra 20 minutes until a nail technician could safely remove the gel polish before she could begin the pedicure.

My salon used these techniques because they were the norm and any different ways to solve a problem, even if they were better, would raise some eyebrows. My customers, however, lost an extra half hour of their valuable time for gel polish. That is, until I came up with an idea.

I once had a female client come in for a pedicure. Her time was too limited for the whole gel polish removal, pedicure service, and application of new gel polish.

I began the pedicure service by soaking the toenails with gel polish in warm pedicure water from the beginning. Except for trimming and shaping her toenails, I completed all the pedicure steps. After all the basic cleaning steps in a basic pedicure, which took about 20 minutes, the gel polish on her toenails was already wrinkled, curled and soft enough to be easily peeled off. I now trimmed and shaped her toenails, cleaned up her cuticles, and applied a new color of gel polish of her choosing.

The whole gel pedicure took about an hour, and there was no need to remove the gel polish. During check out, I didn’t charge her for my gel polish removal service because I felt I didn’t do enough work to deserve it.

However, I discovered a better way to remove gel polish from toenails.

This is what I have for you to try at home.
